My Story: The Heart Behind Artful Hands Studio

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I loved nothing more than sitting with a box of crayons, filling pages with color. Over the years, that love grew into a passion for exploring many mediums—painting, mixed media, drawing, and my favorite of all, watercolor abstracts with delicate pen details.

 

For me, art has always been more than just creating something pretty. It’s a way to feel safe, to express myself, and to connect with others. I’ve often wondered what purpose my talent was meant to serve, and through time and prayer, I realized that my gift was meant to be shared. Teaching art and crafts—whether to children, teens, or adults—felt like the path I was always meant to take.​

 

That dream became Artful Hands Studio. My goal is to create a space where people of all ages can discover the joy of creativity, find confidence in their abilities, and feel the sense of community that comes from making something together. There’s nothing quite like seeing a child’s face light up when they finish a project that is truly their own, or watching an adult rediscover the simple joy of creating with their hands.​  Everyone has a spark of creativity inside them. At Artful Hands Studio, I believe in nurturing that spark by helping it grow into something fun, meaningful, and inspiring. This studio is more than a place to make art. It’s a place to explore, to express, and to connect.
